“Madison County, Illinois, has turned to a St. Louis startup company to help guide the county’s future investment decisions….”

Kurt Prenzler was on KMOX Live today talking about how he reduces costs in his investing for the county that preceded the St. Louis Business Journal article this afternoon.

PFITR is public investing software that will help the treasurer’s office reduce transaction costs, help reduce commissions paid and time purchases. It is a new startup from the St. Louis Entrepreneurial Incubator on Washington Ave in the T-Rex Building.

The cost in the article is way off of the $7,000 a year it will end up costing the Treasurer’s office. With $140,000,000.00 invested, it is well worth it.

One $10million bond trade under Frank Miles cost the county up to $25,000.
